The Function 5 Fitness Games is a three-phase global fitness competition built to identify the fittest athletes on the planet. Open to all athletes aged 18 and up, competitors will face a series of intense challenges across endurance, strength, agility, and functional movement.

📍 Competition Format

Phase 1 – The World Open (Virtual)

This is your shot to enter the Arena

The World Open is a global online qualifier consisting of 4 challenging workouts. Athletes will submit their scores and videos for validation.

• Who Can Join: Anyone 18+

• Advancement: The Top 1024 Men and Top 1024 Women advance to the Regionals.

Phase 2 – Regionals (Live Events)

The Regionals are intense, 2-day live competitions hosted across 8 locations throughout the United States. Each Regional will challenge athletes through 8 grueling events, designed to test all pillars of functional fitness—strength, stamina, power, agility, and resilience.

• Format:
  Each Regional features 128 men and 128 women, selected from the top 1,024 athletes per gender from the World Open, distributed evenly across all 8 regions.

• Cash Prizes:
  Athletes will be rewarded not only for overall placement but also for individual event victories:

  • $2,000 awarded to the winner of each event (per gender)

  • Overall Regional Podium Prizes (per gender):
    🥇 1st Place – $10,000
    🥈 2nd Place – $6,000
    🥉 3rd Place – $3,000

• Advancement:
  The Top 8 Men and Top 8 Women from each Regional will advance to the Function 5 Functional Fitness Games Championship to compete for the ultimate title—and a $1,000,000 grand prize.

Phase 3 – The Function 5 Functional Fitness Games (Championship)

This is the final proving ground—the battle for legacy, glory, and the crown of the fittest on Earth. The top 64 men and 64 women from Regionals will face off in a multi-event championship designed to test every facet of elite-level fitness.

• Format:
  Athletes will compete across an unspecified number of events, each designed to challenge their limits and separate the best from the rest.

• Cash Prizes – Event Wins:

  • $5,000 awarded to the winner of each individual event (per gender)

• Cash Prizes – Final Rankings (per gender):
  🥇 1st Place – $1,000,000 + Title of “Function 5 Champion”
  🥈 2nd Place – $100,000
  🥉 3rd Place – $70,000
  🏅 4th Place – $50,000
  🏅 5th Place – $40,000
  🏅 6th Place – $30,000

  🏅 8th Place – $10,000

• You must be 18 years or older by the start of the World Open.

• All athletes must submit valid ID and sign a waiver during registration.
